Kenneth S. Hardesty joins Board of Intellectual Capital

Steven R. Gerbsman, Principal of Gerbsman Partners, is pleased to announce that Kenneth S. Hardesty has joined Gerbsman Partners Board of Intellectual Capital.

Mr. Hardesty is an International Technology CEO, who has worked with numerous private and publicly traded companies in the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Europe.

During his career, Mr. Hardesty was President and COO of Atlas Industries, Ltd., a Hong Kong based sub-contract manufacturer, with over 7000 employees and $250M revenue, doing business in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Europe and the US. He assisted Seagate technology founders, Al Shuggart and Tom Mitchell in acquisitions for Seagate Technology and was the COO of Syquest Technology.

Mr. Hardesty was also President of Communications Systems International, a high accuracy differential global positioning systems manufacturer, CEO of Casino Data Systems, a technology-driven software and hardware company which designs, develops, manufactures, and distributes hotel and gaming management systems, multiple site progressive management systems, including meters and signage and President of Castlewood Systems, a manufacturer of high performance removable media storage devices.

Mr. Hardesty specializes in troubled manufacturing, software and wireless companies with the objective of returning these companies to profitability, insuring a transition of capable management, regaining shareholder confidence and maximizing enterprise value. Mr. Hardesty utilizes his international relationships, with renowned industry notables, such as Alan Shuggart, Tom Mitchell, Steve Wozniak, Syed Iftikar and others, to assist him in maximizing value.

Mr. Hardesty will assist Gerbsman Partners as a CEO in residence, working in the Wireless, Contract Manufacturing, Storage Media and Software sectors. He will also provide guidance for strategic partnering opportunities, as well as contract manufacturing partners in Asia.
